Research Overview

My research focuses on the engineering of stem cells for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. More specifically, I focus on the use of biomaterials to promote embryonic stem cell differentiation. I am also interested in the development of stem cells into clinical therapies that can be used to treat a variety of pathophysiological diseases.
