Education Programs
The Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience (IBB) remains committed to education initiatives for K-12, middle school and high school students. IBB focuses on providing opportunities and experiences for students at all levels that extend beyond formal courses to integrate science and engineering principals into student's education experiences.
IBB supports a number of education programs, provides student interactions with industry, and supports a student council group, Bioscience and Bioengineering Unified Graduate Students (BBUGS), which serves the entire bioengineering and bioscience community.
IBB's educational activities are supported by funding a variety of partners, including local area Atlanta Community members through our Friends of the Petit Institute program.

IBB is not a department with traditional classes, however, IBB is dedicated to graduate student education on many levels.
Although no undergraduate classes are taught in the Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience, IBB is supportive of undergraduates in several ways.
